It’s officially April and I’m feeling all the spring-y vibes over here, even if the weather isn’t cooperating. The hint of warmth on the breeze has me ready to plant a garden, go to every farmers market, and dust off all of my short dresses. I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities the first quarter of this year has allowed me and I’m bursting with excitement with all the fun that’s still to come.

April Goals

1. Send out my newsletter more frequently

I’ve been pretty lax about this, but whenever I see an area of my business lacking I always have to set a plan in motion to fix it. If you follow along with my monthly newsletters be on the lookout for all kinds of goodies coming your way!

2. Develop some new themes

The work I’ve been doing recently has really pushed me both creatively and intellectually. For every client I usually design things that can be a bit tricky on the coding end of things. Because of this I’ve learned so much from each new project and I think it’s time to update my theme listings and give you guys some cleaner, fresher, and easier to use designs.

3. Develop a resource library

I love being able to provide free content for you guys! And with 5+ years of blogging and almost 2 years of running a business under my belt, I have lots of fun tips and tricks to share with you all, as well as just some fun downloads to keep you on track and hitting all of your goals!

4. Redesign my websites

I’ve been saying this for awhile now, but both my blog and my studio site are in need of some tlc. This month I’m going to change that and already have some new designs in the works!

5. Take more “me” time

Last spring was super busy for me and I remember almost getting burnt out once or twice. This year I’m making sure that doesn’t happen by actually taking some downtime. I’m all for that slow-preneur life.
